Ian Pegram

Ian is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Institute of Directors. In addition to his initial Quantity Surveying degree Ian holds a Masters in Energy, Environmental Technology and Economics.

Ian has extensive Infrastructure Sector experience, in particular in Major Projects and Programmes including in Airports, Rail and Tram, Water, Underground and Surface Stations and also other large scale Civil Engineering schemes.

 

Coupled with his strong background in Major Projects and Programmes, Ian has very significant experience of Joint Ventures - and this includes having been a Board Member for several of the major tunnelling and station contracts on the Crossrail Programme (£1.5bn), together with the major LUL Underground development at Kings Cross in London (£1bn), Heathrow Terminal 2, and High Speed 1 at King’s Cross. In these and other roles held, Ian's focus has been on collaborative and successful delivery to both time and budget.  

 
Ian has held senior roles as Commercial Director with both Major Tier 1 Consultants and Contractors, and Ian's experience includes successfully heading up and professionally representing a diversity of commercial interests - including those of Funder, Employer, Project Manager, Designer, and Contractor - this being under a variety of contractual arrangements.

 

This experience base supports Ian's approach in developing and articulating innovative and practical solutions to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and drive business certainty.
